LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
The Landscape Architecture study program educates students for the planning, design, arrangement, and improvement of open spaces in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, aesthetics, and contemporary social needs. The program integrates knowledge from biological, technical, artistic, and design disciplines, enabling students to understand, analyze, and creatively shape spaces in harmony with natural and social contexts.
The aim of the program is to qualify students for comprehensive planning, design, and management of green spaces for various purposes, ranging from public green areas and urban spaces to natural and protected areas. Special emphasis is placed on enhancing the aesthetic and functional quality of spaces, landscape revalorization, and mitigating the negative impacts of urban stress on the environment through the application of sustainable development principles.
A large number of design-oriented courses ensure breadth and high quality of education, which form the basis for meeting the requirements to obtain licenses for independent design and execution, recognized by the Engineering Chamber of Serbia, such as: licensed spatial planner (PP 01-02), licensed urban planner (UP 02-02), licensed landscape architect – designer (PaP 03), and licensed landscape architecture contractor (PaI 03-01).

Students acquire competencies recognized in national, European, and global frameworks, with opportunities for further professional development and involvement in research work.
A specific goal of the program is to develop awareness of the importance of continuous education and keeping up with advancements in the profession, particularly in the context of sustainable development and responsible spatial management. The study program also develops teamwork capabilities and trains students for professional communication, presentation, and argumentative exposition of their work results to the professional and broader public.
