LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE

The Master Academic Studies program in Landscape Architecture is aimed at deepening and expanding acquired knowledge and skills in the fields of planning, design, management, and improvement of open spaces, in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, contemporary social challenges, and advanced professional standards. The program integrates advanced knowledge from biological, technical, artistic, and design disciplines, enabling students to critically analyze, interpret, and creatively shape complex spatial systems in various natural and urban contexts.

The goal of the program is to qualify students for independent and responsible resolution of complex tasks in the field of landscape architecture, including strategic planning, integrated design, and management of green infrastructure, as well as for making decisions based on analysis and research. Special emphasis is placed on landscape revalorization, improvement of environmental quality, and the application of innovative and sustainable solutions under conditions of climate and urban challenges.

The program includes advanced design and research courses that enable students to specialize in selected fields, develop an individual professional profile, and prepare for work on complex projects and in multidisciplinary teams. The acquired competencies represent the basis for further acquisition of professional licenses in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.

Why enroll in the Landscape Architecture study program?

Master’s studies enable the deepening of professional and scientific knowledge, as well as the development of a critical, analytical, and research-oriented approach to solving complex spatial problems. The program encourages innovation, autonomy in work, and the ability to make strategic decisions in the field of landscape architecture. Special emphasis is placed on the application of modern design methods, digital tools, and advanced visualization techniques, as well as the development of research competencies. Students are trained to participate in scientific research projects, international cooperation, and further academic development.

The program develops the ability to critically perceive space, make well-argued decisions, and engage in professional communication, including the presentation of work results to the professional and wider public. Special attention is paid to developing awareness of the importance of sustainable development, environmental responsibility, and continuous professional development.

This program is intended for those who want to improve their professional competencies, take on more responsible roles in the profession, and actively contribute to the development of quality, sustainable, and innovative spaces.

Where can you find employment after graduation?

Upon completing master’s studies, master’s degree holders in landscape architecture can perform more complex and responsible jobs in:

  • design and consulting firms,
  • urban planning and spatial planning institutions,
  • public utilities and institutions for green infrastructure management,
  • nature and environmental protection institutions,
  • scientific research and educational institutions,
  • international and development projects,
