About the project

The REINFORCING project is an initiative funded by the European Union that acts as a central hub for Open and Responsible Research and Innovation (ORRI). The project helps European research organizations and civil society organizations integrate ethics, inclusiveness, and sustainability into their innovation processes, primarily through the allocation of cascading grants. Knowledge acquired through previous projects in this field, as well as newly acquired knowledge and tools, are made available in one place via the REINFORCING One-Stop Source platform.

Objectives

The objective of the REINFORCING project is to develop a central hub of knowledge and expertise in the field of Open and Responsible Research and Innovation (ORRI), which will be easily accessible and tailored to the needs of the community. This goal is achieved through the analysis and utilization of rich experience gained over ten years of initiatives related to the ORRI concept, including the RRI Tools database. The acquired knowledge is made available through the REINFORCING One-Stop Source platform, along with new community-developed resources and tools that will enable users to navigate and access relevant information more easily.

Consortium

The project is led by FONDAZIONE GIANNINO BASSETTI ETS, in collaboration with 12 institutions from seven European countries: Serbia, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Finland, and Austria.
