AGRIS
With the aim of digitizing agricultural production on the territory of the AP Vojvodina, introducing precision agriculture technologies, and transferring the knowledge and services of the teaching and research staff of the Faculty to agricultural producers in real time and in a digital form, the Agro-information Center – AGRIS was established.
There is a large number of different platforms available on the market to agricultural producers, but none of these platforms had as its foundation the experience, knowledge, and series of data that the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad possesses from its development and establishment.
AGRIS is a digital technical-technological agronomic advisor to all agricultural producers. With the help of AGRIS, the advice and recommendations of the experts of the Faculty of Agriculture are available to a wide audience during the growing season, while it is equally significant that even in the period after crop harvesting, agricultural producers can receive reports with agronomic, economic, and operational analyses of the production year and recommendations for the upcoming season. Precision agriculture technologies, with AGRIS, become accessible to all agricultural producers. An integral part of the AGRIS platform is the GEOPORTAL, which can be used for monitoring, analysis, and downloading of spatial data.
