The mission of the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad, as an integral part of the university community, is to actively contribute to the economic, social and cultural development of society, providing knowledge and sustainable solutions as an adequate response to accelerated social changes and the digitalization of all areas of life, education and business. The multidisciplinary nature of the Faculty represents a strong foundation for further development, with continuous nurturing and improvement of cooperation with other educational and scientific research institutions, research groups and individuals in the country and abroad.

The realization of the vision of the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad will be based on the following strategic directions of development:
- Independent and internationally recognized research work of the highest quality, focused on solving current challenges in the field of agriculture, veterinary medicine, landscape architecture and sustainable development, while encouraging interdisciplinarity and knowledge transfer.
- Modern and high-quality study programs, aligned with the needs of the labor market, technological progress and the principles of lifelong learning, which enable students to acquire practical, applicable and market-competitive knowledge and skills.
- Developed advisory and service activities of high quality, which contribute to the improvement of agricultural production, rural development, animal health and landscape architecture, as well as strengthening the links between science, profession and practice.
- Encouraging innovation and entrepreneurial spirit through cooperation with the private and public sectors, including joint projects, application of research results, development of new technologies and commercialization of knowledge.
