The &#8220;all in one place&#8221; concept enables the connection of experts and researchers from the Faculty of Agriculture with agricultural producers, companies, feed manufacturers, equipment and reproductive material suppliers, veterinary organizations, and other institutions.<\/p><p>At Agro Campus, cooperation models can be developed that include joint scientific research and development projects, commercial trials, testing of new products and technologies, demonstration activities, professional training, advisory services, and direct knowledge transfer into agricultural practice. The Center is organized on the principles of self-sustainability, and its activities include farm management services, distribution of reproductive material and animal feed, implementation of trials, This organization enables the simultaneous application of various production models, student education, professional work, and research in the fields of nutrition, genetics, reproduction, animal health care, and welfare.<\\\/p>\\n<p>The dairy cattle sector includes 18 animals, comprising cows, pregnant heifers, and calves of the Holstein-Friesian and Simmental breeds. The cow-calf system includes 30 animals, representing the Aberdeen Angus and Limousin breeds. Of special value is the genetic material of the black Limousin, with animals obtained through embryo transfer.<\\\/p>\\n<p>The existing production systems provide a basis for cooperation with companies producing animal feed, mineral and vitamin supplements, farm equipment, animal monitoring systems, microclimate control solutions, and digital production management tools. In cooperation with experts, it is possible to plan the monitoring of production, reproductive, health, and economic indicators and evaluate the applicability of new solutions in real farm conditions.<\\\/p>\\n<p>The farm can also play a significant demonstration role in showcasing good practices in nutrition, reproduction, housing, health care, and herd management.<\\\/p>\\n\"},{\"title\":\"Farm Management\",\"content\":\"<p>The Agro Campus has a developed system of professional support for dairy cattle farms. Farm management services include the creation of mating plans, reproduction management, determination of the animals&#8217; metabolic status, milk analysis, and diet correction.<\\\/p>\\n<p>Mating plans are created based on data regarding origin, milk production, conformation, reproductive indicators, and the health status of the animals. Based on the obtained data, the selection of appropriate bulls and insemination strategies is proposed, with the aim of improving the genetic potential of the herd and reducing the risk of inbreeding.<\\\/p>\\n<p>Professional support in reproduction management includes monitoring reproductive parameters, estrus detection, insemination planning, and the selection of genetic material. By determining the metabolic status, the energy, protein, and mineral status of the animals are assessed, especially during the transition period and early lactation.<\\\/p>\\n<p>Within the cooperation with the accredited laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, analyses of the chemical composition of milk, somatic cell count, microbiological parameters, and other quality indicators are performed. Based on the analyses of feedstuffs, rations, and production results, diet correction is carried out with the aim of improving the health status, production, and economic efficiency of the farm.<\\\/p>\\n<p>Farm management activities encompass more than 200 producers and over 15,000 kilometers of field work per month, which indicates a developed network of users and significant operational capacity for direct work with farms.<\\\/p>\\n<p>For companies, this system represents an opportunity to monitor the effects of their products and technologies on a larger number of farms and under various production conditions in cooperation with the Agro Campus. Cooperation may include field monitoring, data collection, professional analysis, product demonstration, and the preparation of recommendations for their proper application.<\\\/p>\\n\"},{\"title\":\"Genetic Resources\",\"content\":\"<p>The Agro Campus has the infrastructure and expert capacities for cryopreservation of semen and long-term storage of domestic animal genetic material in liquid nitrogen at a temperature of \\u2013196\\u00b0C. This capacity represents the basis for ex situ\\u2013in vitro conservation of autochthonous, endangered, and production-significant breeds.<\\\/p>\\n<p>Cryopreservation enables the conservation of genetic diversity, reproductive security in emergency circumstances, population reconstitution, and support for scientific and breeding programs. The Agro Campus is included in the European gene bank network EUGENA and is presented on the website as one of the centers for the conservation of animal genetic resources in Serbia and the only such center in Vojvodina.<\\\/p>\\n<p>The collection includes cryopreserved semen of Holstein-Friesian, Charolais, and Limousin bulls, collected between 1986 and 2018. The Center realizes an average of three experimental cycles per year.<\\\/p>\\n<p>The Center is equipped with modern facilities for keeping poultry under controlled conditions. It is possible to control microclimatic conditions, nutrition, and the health status of the animals, as well as to monitor growth, feed conversion, health parameters, and final product quality.<\\\/p>\\n<p>To date, experiments for four doctoral dissertations, two master&#8217;s theses, four diploma theses, and two student research projects have been carried out at the Agro Campus. Digestibility experiments within an international project dealing with the use of insects in poultry nutrition have also been realized.<\\\/p>\\n<p>The Center&#8217;s capacities enable objective testing of animal feed, additives, alternative protein sources, various feeding strategies, genetic lines, equipment, and technological solutions. The facility enables the control of temperature, humidity, ventilation, and hygienic conditions.<\\\/p>\\n<p>The space is organized for the realization of the entire production cycle \\u2013 from substrate preparation and larva rearing to their processing and preparation for further use. The capacity is managed by the expert team of the Faculty of Agriculture gathered under the name &#8220;Wormcraft&#8221;.<\\\/p>\\n<p>This resource enables research in the field of alternative protein sources, optimization of rearing technology, testing of various substrates, standardization of the quality of the obtained material, and assessment of the possibilities of its application in animal nutrition.<\\\/p>\\n<p>Of particular importance to the economy is the possibility of developing circular bioeconomy models, in which relevant organic by-products are used as a resource for protein production. Cooperation can include animal feed manufacturers, the food and agricultural industry, companies managing organic by-products, and enterprises developing biotechnological and circular
